Our Staff
Donna Willi – Executive Director
Donna has been with the Sullivan County Child Care Council, Inc. since August of 2000. Prior to joining the team at the Council, she ran her own family day care program for nine years. Upon hire, Donna held the position of Registration Coordinator until she took the position of Executive Director in August of 2010. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services, some master level credits and has extensive experience in the early care and education field. Donna is a certified trainer on Aspire and currently serves or has served on the following Sullivan County Committees and Boards: Healthy Families Advisory Committee, Sullivan County Center for Workforce Development and REAP.
Courtney Hanback – Referral & Recruitment Specialist
Courtney joined us in May 2022. She was born and raised in Sullivan County and enjoys it so much that she and her husband, are raising their children as the 5th generation on the family farm. She has many years working with school age children with complex disabilities and running day care classrooms. These last few years recruiting direct support staff have been her focal point. She hopes to bring her two favorite things, recruiting and childcare, together and help others open their own small business as a childcare provider. Her role also includes providing parents with childcare provider referrals. She enjoys volunteering on numerous Sullivan County boards.
Pamela DeMarmels – Subsidy Specialist II & Bookkeeper
Pamela was welcomed as a new part-time employee of the Sullivan County Child Care Council, Inc. in November 2011. Born and raised in Sullivan County, Pamela graduated from Tri-Valley Central School and attended college at the Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. Pamela is also employed by the County of Sullivan, where she has worked in the Office of Audit and Control for the past 28 years and is a Senior Accounts Payable Coordinator. Her position here at the Child Care Council entails the processing and calculation of daycare vouchers within the NYS OCFS Child Care Time and Attendance System maintains the books for the Child Care Council.
Aimee Pittaluga – CACFP Coordinator & ITA Specialist
Aimee has been at the Sullivan County Child Care Council, Inc. since November of 2002. Aimee began at the Council as the Parent Counselor and is now the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) Coordinator. Aimee has an associate’s degree in early childhood and extensive experience in childcare both as a provider and a parent. Aimee is certified by Safe Kids NY as a car seat technician, Pre-K CLASS certified, Pre-K CDA observer and a Breastfeeding Advocate for Sullivan County.
Susan Sennett – Registrar
Sue joined the team at the Sullivan County Child Care Council in August 2018. She has been a Sullivan County native most of her life and began working in childcare as a teenager as a Latch-Key Aide in the Liberty School District. She operated her own Family Childcare program from 2002 to 2016, when she moved out of state. Upon her return to NY, Sue worked as a Toddler Lead Teacher at a local childcare facility until she joined the Council in 2018. Sue holds a BA in psychology and enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, children and family dogs.
Samantha Drezek– Infant Toddler Specialist, Infant Toddler Mental Health Consultant & Legally Exempt Coordinator
Samantha joined the Sullivan County Child Care Council, Inc. in July 2022. She graduated from SUNY New Paltz with a master’s degree in literacy education, birth to 6th grade in August 2019. Samantha was formerly a Toddler Teacher with the YWCA of Ulster County and then later a Regulator with the Family of Woodstock. She currently holds a New York State T-TAP credential, is a New York State Pyramid Model Master Cadre and is a certified Health and Safety Trainer. Samantha assists Legally Exempt providers with enrollments and the payment process. She also builds and maintains relationships with childcare providers to support them in providing quality care to the infants and toddlers in their programs. As a former childcare provider and the mother to a young son, Samantha recognizes the importance of building connections between infants and toddlers and their caregivers.
Adrionna Baggatta– Child Care Assistance Specialist
Adrionna joined our team in July 2022. She is a lifetime resident of Sullivan County and has been an active member of her community from a young age. Prior to joining the Sullivan County Child Care Council her work and education experiences mostly revolved around childcare, child safety and child development. She has been a lead teacher, Assistant Director of a childcare program and received her associate’s degree with a specialty in special education and law advocacy of children. Outside of work she loves spending time with her family and volunteering in her community. She hopes to bring her experience and knowledge of childcare, child development and child safety to the Council, to help assist the families we serve.
Darlene Kehrley – Business Support and Retention Specialist
Darlene joined the Sullivan County Child Care Council in September 2023. Darlene was raised in Sullivan County and has spent her entire adult life working with children. She opened and successfully ran a group family daycare as well as several day care centers. Darlene holds a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education and holds a New York State T-TAP credential. Her role within our organization will be to increase childcare supply by helping new and seasoned providers create a plan that will successfully start up and/or sustain their business. Darlene looks forward to utilizing her experience and knowledge to help programs to feel supported, motivated and proud to offer quality childcare in Sullivan County.
